In the 31st Corps Commanders Conference chaired by Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, the geo-strategic, regional and national security conditions that are arising due to COVID-19, have discussed. The chief directed all commanders to extend assistance in resource movement to reach the staple supplements to far-flung areas such as GB, AJ & K, Balochistan, and Interior Sindh. 

The army’s top brass paid tribute to all the frontliners including doctors, paramedic staff, health care workers, and LEAs who are fearlessly fighting the battle of the coronavirus.

The forum also paid tribute to the Kashmiris who are not just fighting the pandemic but also facing atrocities at the hands of Indians and also struggling for their cause of self-determination.

According to the chief of Army staff “Being a nation with vibrant youth and resilient people ready to share & sacrifice, we will emerge stronger from this challenge, InshaAllah.”

Forum also undertook a comprehensive review of deployment of Pakistan army troops for the assistance of civil administration in controlling the civil power across the whole country.
